hi,
I have seen a few threads on here to do with mms problems or sms always saying failure, but none with this specific problem.
i have a HTC desire on 2.2 i have had it since about april 2010, its on 02 but from the carphone warehouse if that helps,
The problem is when i txt certain people, and on my end it says the message has been delivered (with sent notification or just by being no grey or red error symbol nxt to sent message), but the message is never sent, it only happens with a few contacts but is happening more n more often l8ly. As with all other contacts everything seems fine
I have tried deleting one the numbers which it happens to and re adding or txting without having number saved and still dsnt send through. i have tried using handcent sms to see if was a problem with default message, but still no joy :S, and the old turn the phone off n then back on again also,
I 1st noticed it about november ish and put it down to people just blanking me,
but its not that as i got a txt asking if i had replied when i had sent 3 and i use my bro's fone n they txt me bak ok then, on the rare occasion they do send through however which i find even more weird that they can send just 80% of the time they don't.
The recipients all have different phones and networks also which has made me think its a fault with my phone maybe :S
any insight is much apppreciated
