Welcome To Android Video-Vault

I've done a lot of things in my life, but I've never operated any heavy equipment. And I'd likely be the guy who would get this thing stuck and have to call in someone to help get it un-stuck.

Impressive work.

Yeah, that was a thriller.
That caterpillar has 60 cm wide plates. Common for the Netherlands is 90 cm, for swampy, clay grounds.

If you've ever done any woodworking, you'll likely be as mesmerized as I was by this video. Just stunning work, decent musical accompaniment, and if you don't want to be mesmerized for a half-hour, early on there is a pop-up link to a four-minute version. That's how I first saw it and I went looking and happily found the longer one. It's really crazy how this thing comes together and the 3-D effect of it is really bizarre at times. Anyway, enjoy.

That's wonderful stuff, I love watching a craftsman like this at work. Just a phenomenal amount of work gone into making this bowl, even before he got to the turning phase.

If you like watches, or even just fine engineering, you'll likely enjoy this video. I can't imagine the concentration required to work on one of these! Yikes!

Fascinating video. That watch is a work of art. I'm assuming it costs several million $$ to buy?

Well, if viewed as a work of art, perhaps the US $2.5M price tag doesn't seem so steep... ;)
They only made 7 and one is destined for their museum. I have a feeling it was done just to say they did it. I don't know how long it was in development overall, but just one of the features (the swivel-face) took them four years to get right.

Well it is a beautiful piece of art, and can be appreciated on that level, but also a lot of engineering work went into it. So yes in this case, I can fully understand the high price.

I can still follow you. LMAO.

Maybe I should give it another try. I used Facebook for a couple of weeks when it first came out but I just didn't dig it. I like being really social so much better. You know saying Hi, Thank you, stuff like that to people in front of you. Sharing a smile. Social. Used to climb rocks in my school shoes with no ropes but those dudes would scoff st Roxbury pudding stone.

Well we all have our hobbies. I've been to 3 Theatre events. "Soap" at Wellesley College, "The Flying Karazamov Brothers" at the Wilbur Theater and "New Riders of the Purple Sage" at a now defunct Boston theater. Loved them all. Real people right in front of you, entertaining you. Amazing!
