Hello from a would be iphone user

Retired airline pilot/fighter pilot, so technology is my friend. However, I am not terribly up to date on all this. My old cell was a Motorola that was
actually beginning to physically disappear. Screen was intermittently blank.

My son has an iphone, and I really was hoping to hold off till Verizon got the iphone in their stable. Today, I was just looking for something to hold me over till the iphone was avail. Well, clever salesman sold me on the Moto Droid.

I hope I made a good decision.

I am sure to be visiting here for help often.

I have an ipod touch, and even though it's a great device, the droid has many functional advantages over the iphone. Mine comes tomorrow and I can't wait.
