Drop the phone, screen first, onto a small pebble or gravel. Then tell me it is scratch proof. Sorry, but it may be scratch resistant and hold up to things such as keys in your pocket, but anything with even the tiniest "oomph" to it will decimate any kind of screen.
 
i used ghost-armor, and when the guy applied it for me he asked me to remove the battery and not turn the phone back on for an hour, if i remember correctly. working fine for 2.5 weeks now

I will use a screen protector with any electronic device. $5 screen protector vs $500 phone. Its stupid not to. Gorilla glass or not. And, im sorry, but a screen protector does NOT deminish the beauty. As for making it less sensative, maybe a tiny tiny bit. but that tiny bit is negligable.

screen protectors of any type > no screen protector.
 
I'm quite happy with my invisible shield. There should be no issue if applied right. I think the T-Mo reps are doing it wrong. Then again, I don't expect much from a cell phone rep who probably makes 8 bux/hour tops.

I am very sure that the lady just went all crazy with solution. I applied a wet application SP on my vibrant the other day and as long as you are smart, there should not be any reason to brick ur phone.

What I did was power down the phone and took off the battery cover and removed the battery. Once I finished applying the screen protector with the wet app, and got rid of all the liquid I can, I replaced the battery and powered up my phone. No water damage =)

You're ******ed. Gorilla glass makes the screen protector unnecessary. PERIOD. the protector increases glare, ads another layer to much up, and is inferior to finger-on-glass sliding for swype. But hey, go on and keep living in 2003 and buying useless ad-ons to keep that industry alive.

Scratch resistant, yeah. Scratch proof? No way. I learned the hard way today. Had my Vibrant in my shoulder bag on the passenger seat next to me on my way to work. Phone was in a front pouch, screen away from the only other thing in the pouch: a micro usb cable.

All was fine until the dickwad in front of me slammed on his brakes for no apparent reason. I hit my brakes, the shoulder bag went flying, ended up upside down of the car floor, and when I got to work I discovered three scratches right next to each other just above the "Samsung".

So you can take all the care in the world -- and I've babied this phone for two months -- but it is not scratch proof.
 
Anyone got a before and after shot for the wet skin? I'd like to see the difference in the look of the screen because I know most stick-on protectors are garbage and look like plastic wrap on a screen.

What do you guys think about the wet skins? More glare? Less glare? Can you see it at all? Does it feel plasticy? Will it peel?

Everything you said is your opinion and you are marketing it as fact.(fact) You sir are a jackass.(and that's my opinion)

No phone glass is indestructible and having an extra layer of protection couldn't hurt.
