@Unforgiven
Point well taken. I shall be deliberate in my effort to be patient.

Here's a bug when composing: When I click on the quote button it turnes to multi-platform quote.
Yes, another quirk I'm getting used to. Quote is for multiquote where the reply button acts like the traditional quote.

Kind of off topic but I'm kind of shocked that we are a commercial forum software as opposed to open source. Where are we getting money for it? I'm assuming advertising.

The site is a for profit site, owned by rob, who posted above about signatures. I have no expectation of him revealing all the details, but it is easy to assume adverts and premium memberships are part of the revenue stream.

Wow I didn't know he owned it lol that's pretty neat.
No disrespect to anyone here but I always thought that open source gets fixed faster due to more access to code and thus more helping hands.

At least that's how I've perceived open source projects in general

When you click My Posts you get a list of your recent posts - is it possible for that page to indicate that there are new/unread post to those threads, similar to the blue circle when viewing forums?

I use the My Subscriptions link in the My Posts menu. This brings up a list of threads you have posted in where there are new posts.

Oh just tell them, no need to keep it a secret any longer.

Rob got a phone call for a mysterious tip meeting.

Along the way, he was rolled for his wallet.

No one knows who did it.

When his credit cards max out, or he comes to, whichever, the party's over.

:p

Note to active staff - if you haven't already, it's time to overhaul the site FAQ. This thread seems to me like a beacon for the pain points in navigating the new Xenforo.

If already underway, many thanks!

I'm fighting a quoting bug, so -

To Whomever asked about using Flash or not for uploading -

I can't get it to work with either setting on mobile (and I have Dolphin with Flash to test that part) and I do know that uploading with Flash on a pc works - haven't tried without there yet.

Well, I go away a few days to handle a family medical thing and come back to this. Good luck folks. I know how much work this is for the admins having had another favorite forum "upgrade" to Xenforom. My pet peeves right now (alert changes don't result in changing the alerts and edit button) have already been mentioned, so I'll wait.

I can tell you after several months with Xenforum on that other forum, I still don't like it as well as VB, but I have learned to live with it and am sure wrinkles will get ironed out here and I will learn to live with it here. I love this community too much not to. At least I'm already familiar with the changes.

For me, in Xenforum vs VB, slickness and flashiness is not a substitute for function and usefulness, but I'm used to being on the wrong side of that argument in the digital world. ;)

Bug ... skinny screenshots

Hope these help :)

O you notice that with dolphin add puff to the list.

Just an observation, but after i post a reply, i can read everything normally, no skinny posts? But then if i leave the page and come back to same page, they are skinny again!

Hope this helps ;)

I'm wondering if it's because of your Web engine in Gingerbread.

And it so happens that I have a perfectly cromulent rooted Gingerbread phone lying about so I'm going to test it. :)
