Hey folks!
Well, after my 4th Thunderbolt failed me and I was looking at another replacement, I threw in the towel on it. I loved the phone when it worked, but 4 failures in 9 months was just too much for me. After going through Tech Support, I finally got myself talking to a supervisor who would let me replace it with a Droid Bionic at no cost to me.
I'm not bitter about the Thunderbolt, but I didn't want to keep up with this until I could get a new phone on contract and I can't afford one off contract. So, Motorola Droids have always been good to me and I know there's root support available for it, even if it's not as well supported as the Thunderbolt by the Dev community.
I'd like to than the many folks on here who've helped me over the short time I've been here for getting me familiar with and comfortable with customizing my phone so that I could make it my own. Especially Scotty, Yeahha, and Worm who helped make a noob feel okay about being ignorant when I started out with rooting.
Again, I'm not dumping on the TB and it's been good to me and fun to customize, it's just ended up not working out for me in the end and it's time for me to move on. Take care all and remember to have fun if you root or you're missing the point!
