Help What Am I missing here?

ezydroid

Newbie
Besides 2.2, which I don't want to update (Yet), I feel like I am missing an important app.

Currently on my Dinc:
-2.1
-Launcher Pro
-Widget Locker
-Juice Defender
-Juice Plotter
-System Panel
-Homeswitcher
-ChompSMS
-BatteryLeft
-BattStatt

Am I missing an important app here? And should I always run Juice Defender and Juice Plotter all the time?

Thanks in advance

-Launcher Pro -optional
-Widget Locker - dont need
-Juice Defender - dont need
-Juice Plotter - dont need
-System Panel - must have
-Homeswitcher - dont need
-ChompSMS - dont need
-BatteryLeft - must have
-BattStatt - dont need

i dont think its what you dont have to me its what you dont need at all ;)

IMO you don't really need "battery left" because system panel keeps track of your battery. So that is one less app you don't need. ;) The update has really fixed battery issues. Now I can go a day without charging my battery. I only charge it when I go to bed which is really sweet. It's a far cry from battery life of the lg dare but I'm not complaining.

I love battery left, it takes up very little space, looks great and you can put the extended info on which makes it very informative as well, monitoring the battery temp is vital if you want to have good battery life, no i dont need it because i too only charge at night when i go to bed, but i think it is very useful.

Thanks guys, so what do you people use instead of chomp sms? the regular text messaging app?

Hey I came from a dare also, loved the battery life on that one!

How about Root?
Clockwork?
Enrevoked forever?
Titanium backup?
Wireless tether?
Root explorer?
It doesn't sound like your rooted, maybe thats what your missing!
For non rooted, i'd say add Astro file manager!

Thanks guys. This is just my 2nd week with the phone so excuse me if I am sounding like a noob.

I would like to keep it stock for now, maybe root later on in the future..

So Juice defender is no good? It seemed to help my battery life, but then again I followed the steps of turning off wifi, gps, and background data AND enable always-on mobile data are both unchecked.

so you disabled the always on mobile data and background data....that defeats the who point of a smart phone pretty much.
