What and where is the "Browser".

no .. i have not read that.. still have not..

the OP might be a little lost or confused or have very bad communication skills..

that dont change the fact that he/she is honestly trying to find some help and information. Point them in the right direction.. even if they dont get it. then leave them to their own devices to see if they can sink or swim. but dont push their heads under the water and hold them there!

before i close this thread, OP, is your initial question answered sir/ma'am??

Thanks for your concern. My issue was resolved, but, clearly, there are many here with other issues. I don't understand the nascent pubescent hostility here, and have moved on to other phone issues.

Here's a link to a posting that resolved my phone issue:

Man, there's a lot of pointless hostility in this forum.

Again, I thank you, and a few others, for your help.

PEOPLE! When someone asks for help give him the help he needs not some snotty sarcastic BS answer. No reason to close this thread. The question was simple and FunDroid answered it nicely.

He may have been unnecessarily sarcastic (and I hope you weren't referring to me as well, because I thought I was was blunt but not rude), but the OP here isn't exactly being polite himself.

I find people often follow examples. If the OP is snotty, following posters tend to be less polite. And who can blame them, really?

Why do people have to respond so rudely to someone asking for help?
So What! He misunderstood. Can anyone here say they have never misunderstood a reply? It's sad when people feel that they can not post here to ask a question without fear of retribution in some form or other.
If you can not add something helpful to the thread, just leave it for those who can. Simple concept, right?
Practice it!

I agree, there is no reason to respond rudely. If you can't say anything nice, then don't say it at all. If it bothers you so much, then report it.

Some fail to realize that not everyone can be as experienced in their phone or OS. We all start somewhere and some need guidance to get to that special experience level. Also there is no requirment to search. Some do some don't. But that does not give anyone the right to go off on any member because they ask a question that may seem small or one that has already been answered.

As for the merge and moving of threads/posts, it is necessary to keep the forums organized.

As for the recent posts/threads that were deleted, that was a server issue. And the only backup we had at the time of the incident was from two days ago. So anything posted thereafter was lost. (Including my responses and reason for the way us staff do things to keep things in order.)
