For some reason, it reminds me of Darksiders.

nope.....we get this question on a daily basis. the problem is that there are millions of apps that have notification icons. so unless it is something like facebook or youtube, you will only get guesses from us.

why not just ask the person who the device belongs to. or look in the phone's notifications to find out.

It looks like a navigation app, but can't recall which.

Someone asked about this one before. And I commented it looked a bit like a clapperboard, with the chevrons at the top. I don't know if it was resolved or not.

I searched, it was not resolved but the guesses were the same. Most likely a navigation app.
