Instantgram, Gmail, Drive is the triangle down in the middle one, screen shot is the one above that one, whatapp is the one on the third row up, messenger is the lower bottome.

Motion sensor Location, as if you are walking towards your destination. :)

Sometimes the best advice is sliding down and looking over where your apps are, and match the unknown ones, I use IG really frequently, and also know what Snapchat symbol is, as well as Google Drive too. Wassup app the phone with speech balloon see a few times.

Does it mean someone has sent someone thier location?

The person who’s phone it is was at a current location and staying there all night. I’m curious to see if they sent someone their location?

It's not even necessarily Google maps, it's just the indicator that location services are being used. It could literally be any app that uses location services. Facebook, web browser, maps, etc. There is no way to know which app was using it. You're just going to have to give the benefit of the doubt or ask them about it.

However, it's not likely that it's an indication that they sent the location to someone else.

There are apps that let you share location with others (I've seen this done in Snapchat, but there are also apps where this is the main function rather than a subsidiary one). I've no idea whether such apps notify you when someone is looking at your location, though I'm sure not all do (I've watched my daughter use this to ensure that she didn't bump into someone, and doubt she wanted that person to know that she was checking where they were).

Thanks so much guys..

Was it then cloud? The ball and the data sync? The data one - where are they sending the data?

The cloud is either some cloud storage or backup app or else a weather app. Clouds are, unfortunately, rather generic and there are a lot of apps with cloud icons, so very hard to identify a particular app.

The ball looks like a football ("soccer ball" to Americans). There are a lot of apps related to that sport, and I've never been that interested in 22 strangers kicking a ball around a field for 90 minutes, so I can't hope to identify which particular sports app it might be.

The last one was identified in another thread recently as the "digital wellbeing" app. That's probably collecting data on their screen time usage and sending it to Google ;), but it's not something that the user uses to send data anywhere.
