What apps/services use the Data (I have the 2.5 GB 4G Plan right now )

What uses data? I know some apps don't count as data

Like Youtube Streaming is data

Thank you If you can help me with my situation You have been Thanked in multiple Fonts so Cool:D

Yup, on the new plan everything counts as data. On the old $50 plan they only counted media streaming like youtube and pandora.

If its like that , Do you recommend I get a new plan (heavy web user , tons of texts , watch youtube every day , I use tons of apps , but even on a iphone , I haven't been able to reach the 2GB limit when I had the iPhone 3g (few years ago) but android seems more hungry for the data than iphone/blackberry (I have only used a blackberry torch for 5 days and I simply like it but android beats it for me personally

so do you think I should get the $70 unlimited plan? or would the $60 5GB plan be enough for my data needs (eating the data :thrasher:)

With just yt and stuff I rarely pass 5GB but when I am downloading 1gb worth of files a day to help others pimp their respective androids the extra 20 is definitely worth it.

Dude you know that its 5Gb of 4G, not data. You still get unlimited 3g for the rest of the month. Plus if you turn off your 4G antenna until your doing something that requires that speed and you dont have acess to wifi (streaming movies is about ALL I can think of that seriously NEEDS those speeds) you will probably NEVER hit that limit.

Just so all are clear on the new 4lte plans.

40-standard 40plan features plus 4glte data with 250mb of 4g speeds, at that cap it will throttle (slow down), the 4g speeds, preventing stream and large downloads.

50-50 standard 50 plus 2.5g lte data
60-etc5gb
70-all above plus raphasody & metro studio 4glte no throttle (unlimited).

If you're at your plan data usage, it will lower it basically to 3g speeds but show the 4g icon in the status bar.

Actually, last time I checked, the $60 plan gets you unlimited Rhapsody too. GOD how I wish they offered a $5 upgrade for like 2.5-5Gb more 4G data cuz I couldnt care less about Rhapsody... BOO

I actually like the Rhapsody but I haven't used it so I don't know the quality or speed , and I know you get can 4G toggles , but the 3G is unusable for videos , only usuable on web pages (It was designed for basic phones so...) I use Wi-Fi half of the day sometimes , including I use my laptop a lot (I bet I will use that phone more than my laptop when I get it) (Then things will go back to normal:D)

What is MetroSTUDIO , it says unlimited MetroSTUDIO for the unlimited plan , is Rhapsody a service you can get on the android market for free without MetroPCS?

I am trying to get the Connect as fast as I can (saving money , since I have other big prioritys as well) but..... Something is telling me , to not buy it... I heard over 10 posts saying people , OVERHEATING PROBLEMS and warnings and safety stuff , and what is actually wrong with the phone?

If it is like , major bad , I would try to get another MetroPCS smartphone that is almost the same , but I really need that dual core!

Can someone answer

The zva update supposedly fixes the overheating issue though I'm not 100% positive about that as I am not a heavy gamer.

Get the connect while the getting is good as the sale ends on the 1st.

The "overheating" issue is the batteries. ZVA does somewhat solve it, but the batteries are just junk. It does not actually overheat though, it just gets REALLY hot. There are PLENTY of other batteries to choose from (both stock size and bigger ones) in many different capacities and from what everyone is saying, as long as you get a good one (your always taking a risk with Chinese stuff but unfortunately their the only ones making increased life batteries ATM), then the heat stays reasonable. Hottest Ive seen my phone even with the 1.6 overclock I used to have was like high 50s, which is high, but not dangerously high. And the phone WILL shut off if the temps get into the dangerous zone. I say go for it, the connect is one of the fastest androids on the market right now and is priced at least HALF of what similar performance phones are. and I LIKE how small it is, so thats a plus for me as its just about the only phone with HD, this level of performance in a compact size. And once the bugs are worked out (just like my last phone, the LG Optimus M, it took a while but eventually everything was fixed), its a phone that will serve you well for years to come. But hurry because the $100 instant rebate ends tomorrow, on the 1st it goes to a $50 instant and $50 mail in.

Any other phones for Boost Mobile or MetroPCS that are less than $350 and can run games like temple run :(

Since I am not getting this the first.... I am so mad now I want to smash my laptop!
