What are the differences between the Evo and Evo 3D?

the op made an honest mistake.. the learned the correct specs ..

so this thread is ok.. follows the rules... and should be spared the ax.
 
Why do so many people refer to the 3D aspect of the new Evo as a gimmick?
Given the choice between 2D and 3D, I will always choose the more realistic experience of the 3D.
Wouldn't you?
 
Believe it or not - nope.

I don't like 3D at all.

Still going with the Evo 3D - just haven't decided when; don't mind it having a feature I won't use.
 
Wow. I am now acutually considering Evo 3D. I think they could have kept the kickstand and maybe even put a slide out keyboard in to make it perfect, but the better battery and more memory is def making me consider.

that is enough for me to upgrade, I love my EVO, but im always a sucker for better tech

the charging port on the left side of the phone is a complete FAIL, infact it may be the determining factor for me purchasing this phone

Without a kickstand, why does it matter that the port is on the side?
Assuming you will buy an after-market case with a kickstand, don't you think they will quickly catch on and allow the kickstand to flip in the opposite direction? The phone will rotate the screen appropriately.

because I cant talk on the phone with the charging port on the side, just like with any other phone, its a total Fail, i could care less about the kickstand

If you get distracted by seeing a cable out of the corner of your eye and can't speak because of it, switch to the other ear.

you obviously dont get it, so dont even worry about it

how is seeing something a distraction, IF IT IS IN THE WAY, IF MY PHONE IS CHARGING AND I HAVE TO PICK UP THE PHONE AND USE IT, THE CORD ON THE SIDE WILL BE IN THE WAY

I can understand how the cord from the side would be annoying with use, but it does not prevent you from using it, and it is "not in the way." I'd prefer it on the bottom, but the cable coming out of the side does not affect it THAT much.

All reasons the 3D is better than the 4G! :) To put the processor into perspective, it is 2400mhz (two cores at 1200 each) vs. 1000mhz, so nearly 2.5 times faster, along with the gpu which is 4 times faster and double the RAM, as already mentioned. Android IceCream Sandwhich (2.4 supposedly) will take advantage of the dual-core processor phones like Homeycomb does with tablets.
