What are you currently playing?

Since Dantes inferno and bioshock were free from playstation I'm playing a little of them.

We have an Xbox One now but no games, I think I may pick up Thief and give it a go

Dark Souls 2
How is it? I might pick it up for PC since it doesn't look like they will release for next-gen consoles (XB1/PS4).
I really like it so far. I'm still figuring out how the game works this time around. I haven't even really begun to figure out the "proper order" for bosses. Or, how to get to all the areas.

It feels bigger than Dark Souls. Maybe that's just because I'm playing this game at release, without any guides, or friends showing me what to do. I like having the experience of figuring things out, though.

There are lots of things that are designed to mess with players. Like enemies that play dead, or doors that open to solid wall. One I just figured out to today: In Dark Souls, I got in the habit of attacking chest to see if they were Mimics. If your weapon bounced off, the chest was legit. In Dark Souls II, weapons don't bounce off. If you hit the chest too many times, you will destroy the items inside...

I will be playing some MGS: Ground Zeroes tonight (PS4) and Final Fantasy X-HD (PS Vita) during my commute tomorrow.

MGS5: Ground Zeroes - GREAT game, but way too short. It's only one mission, which is the prologue to The Phantom Pain (due Spring 2015). However, if you enjoyed the previous MGS titles - you might as well get this one. I had a good time with it. They included a few side missions, which are unlocked after you beat the main mission. I haven't played them yet though.

Dragon Age: Origins ★★★★★

Recently:
Tomb Raider (2013) ★★★★
XCOM: Enemy Unknown ★★★★
The Stanley Parable ★★★★

Bought Titanfall too, but have only done the tutorial

I love MGS, but I heard it was only like two hours long for $30. I think I'll wait for the price to drop.

Now I'm playing Max Payne 3. Really fun action game, surprisingly old school in some ways, but with a modern twist.

Yeah, that sounds about right. However, that is only the main mission. There are side missions that you have access to after you complete the main mission. It took me about 6-7 total hours to do the main mission, but that's because I never have uninterrupted play.

What is this uninterrupted play phenomenon you speak of?

Finally started last of us. Also started bioshock, and soon to start tomb raider (both courtesy of playstation plus)

Been slow on my games lately. Finished Max Payne 3, fun, dark and gritty game. Liked it a lot, the action did get a little repetitive toward the end. Started on Far Cry 3. I haven't played the first two, but this one is really fun and it seems like a huge game.

I really wanted to like Max Payne 3, but couldn't bring myself to play past the 2nd section in the club. :(

Farcry 3 is great though. I loved the first, thought the 2nd was meh, but the really, really enjoyed the 3rd. I wasn't a fan of how they did some of the boss battles, but overall, it was very good.

I'm currently playing Injustice: Gods Among Us (both the mobile and console versions).
