What are you currently reading?

Finished The Button Man then read The Bookseller and am halfway through The Crypt Thief. Six more to go in the series.
I also finally actually read A Study in Scarlett and have queued up A Sign of the Four (Sherlock Holmes) by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

They are all worthy of a read. I'm such a fan that I have every movie I could find back in the day.. mostly ordered on VHS. A decade later I duplicated that with DVD. When I get bored, I'll watch a few. I have the novels and short stories in hardback as well as kindle. When I was going to college I was able to find a book at the library that was the complete Sherlock collection and it was all annotated. It was amazing the lengths the purists had gone to support or dispute some of Doyle's writings. Train times and the like were highly debated. So was Watson's war injury. Everything was analyzed In Sherlock fashion. I'd like to own that book!

That sounds like a great book actually. I sort of started looking at some of the discussions about it all, I won't get bogged down in all that yet, let's see where the journey takes me! I know I read Hound of the Baskervilles but don't really recall it well. After I do the 4 novels I'll see what Libby and Kindle have to offer and go from there. Looking forward to them really.

Still with Doctor Sleep, I know I posted it over five years ago when I first purchased it..

Still its like Stan Lee type it up though, such a great dark comic book, whilst bible reading Watchmen all books including the Button Saga, Doomsday clock both books too.

It's nearing that time of year where I have time and the desire to read. It will likely be December before I have the cataracts behind me and new prescription glasses. I can only partly read out of my right eye with my old glasses. If I could talk my wife into holding a book about three feet from me I could be reading now. I don't think that's going to happen. :)

I am like seventeen pages nearly finished with the entire book finally.

'The Camel Club' by David Baldacci.
I've read a ton of books since my last post and only have given up on one - 'A Gentleman in Moscow', just couldn't get in to it.
I did, finally, read 'Of Mice and Men', I'm sure I was supposed to read it in school but never actually did.

Last spring, Doyle and his many stories of the adventures of Sherlock Holmes were mentioned. Now that mowing has all but stopped I'm extremely ready to start reading again. What better place to start than a revisit to the series? Though I haven't had my cataract surgery yet, I started reading A Study In Scarlet. I have the Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Sherlock collection on Kindle. I have the font up so high that I can smell the letters. :)

I have to get back to those, I wandered off the path. So many books out there...
So many books... so little time. :)

It reminds me of an early Twilight show about the guy who loved to read and spent his lunch hour hiding and reading in the bank vault. The end of mankind happed one day during his read. He was the lone survivor and had all the time and all the books with no interruptions. He breaks his glasses and can no longer read.
