Marking homework. The tenses can be hard for students, Makes my head spin.
Eating instant ramen for lunch, again. It sucks to be broke.
You could mix it up with some oatmeal for variety. Pretty cheap also.

Quinoa has a pretty good rep for being a healthy "grain". Not sure how cheap it is though.
Broke and on the road in between seasonal jobs, I would often slice up beef jerky and an apple and throw it in some quinoa. Tasted great then, but that was over ten years ago and my tastes have likely changed since then.
Point is, it's amazing what we can find satisfying when we're hungry enough.
