This video reminds me of the videos from the early MTV days, when all of the videos would have a simple "story" to tell.
Lana is such a timeless beauty, she is a chameleon that you can imagine driving men crazy in any time period. I don't like a lot of her music, but there is something intriguing about her. Some of her live performances are better than her albums. There's one on YouTube from the Jazz Cafe in London that's great.

As always, truly gratified to see so many waiting eagerly but patiently for my arrival; Waiting until my blessed appearance before initiating the proceedings in earnest.

Right now, this minute:
Walk Away Renee- This version by The Four Tops, a few years after the original release by The Left Banke.
For no apparent reason, the song crawled up out of the depths of the well of sub consciousness this evening, and I am now wading through many versions, all great. The song has been described as "foolproof", little wonder it has been covered by so many artists, so many of them favorites of mine.
