I’m not sure if I’ve ever shared this song, it’s a different setting for the hymn “The Deep, Deep Love of Jesus” and the female vocalist (Audrey Assad) is a gem. So I thought you’d like to hear her as well and perhaps explore some more of her singing.

Oh, and I’m sure you’ll recognize the tune as well. ;)

This recent path reminded me of one of the purest voices I’ve ever heard; with a vocal tone as clear as a bell, this is Charlotte Church, then still a youngster, carrying an orchestra and a choir as she sings the classic song, “Panis Angelicus.”

Scrolling through Marybeth’s playlist tonight and I found this song! Still nice to put in the background as ambiance. Thinking of fishing out one of my old romance novels to read to it.
 
How have I only discovered this guy Mike? Amazing covers…and the guy that wrote and recorded (and performed!) the original of this one likes it so much he shows it to anyone who visits! High praise indeed!
