What browser are you using?

LOL it WASN"T beta. Downloaded it as soon as it came out as a finished product. Seems it didn't play nice with spybot among other things. Everything was screwed after that. The point of my post though was that when i tried out firefox i KNEW i was never going back to IE EVER!!

I frequently have over a hundred tabs open. I go to the introductions section and open every thread on the first 3 or 4 pages at least once a week. I personally experience no lag or anything of the kind. That of course probably depends on the content of the page, flash adds(which i get none with ad block plus) and other factors; i am in no way saying that your wrong, just pointing out my very different results
 
I use Opera, I usually have a LOT of tabs open and usually only 100 mb of memory in use. (love that)
And Opera Link is pretty awesome.
I use the mail client for almost everything related to mail.
I use the Unite client to listen to music from my Home PC.
Opera Turbo is good when I am using my phone's internet or very slow WiFi hotspots.
Therefore, for me, Opera ftw.

Why so few?

You're not opening many tabs as compared to my normal browsing. I usually have 23,443, 303.... yeah right... :) Just kidding.

But wow! Over 100 how do you manage them all? Do you have a favorite extension or plug in?

I just began using Opera 11 beta, and I'm really impressed. I've always had a certain fondness for Opera, and now it's even better... :)

Its a revolving door with me n browsers right now...lol

Chrome had a crash of some kind, everything froze. I couldn't end it with Windows Task Manager, etc. I somehow was able to get to the Chrome Task Manager and fixed it that way.

I do like how using the Chrome Task Manager, I can kill the tab or extension thats causing problems and not kill the whole browser. Using the Windows Task Manager, you cant really tell which Chrome process to kill.

Either some fixes have to come soon, I have to find an easy way to get to the Chrome Task Manager....I just saw: Shift + Esc gets u to the Chrome Task Manager....gotta remember that...

Or Opera will be my new #1. IF it works with AI Roboform...

EDIT:......funny....

I think I know whats causing the crashes, freezing...it just happened again....

AI Roboform....lol That would be too funny...
 
Lifehacker has new results posted to my FB page testing the latest browsers..... Chrome & Opera on top with the New FF Beta right up there.

Not really, I do believe with ad block plus running that ff as a whole is much more stable, that's the only ad on I use that prevents stuff from loading.(no flash block stuff)

Tried opera on my winmo for awhile, 10 beta 2 was garbage, the 9.5 that came preinstalled worked great though. As far as on my desktop, I tried for a hot second. Wasn't anything I didn't like about it but for me FF is superior

Same here! Been using Chrome for over a year and some now and got my Cr-48 yesterday. I'm a real sucker for this stuff.
 
Used to love FF but it doesn't seem to handle flash games well (especially on FB).

Chrome for me now, never had a problem with it.

Having been a web developer I wouldn't touch IE as it's not standards compliant.

Unfortunately we still use IE6 at work :)
