What case (if any) is everyone using on their Razr?

Got the Nillkin TPU today. Not bad, but not my favorite. It makes the power button and volume rocker hard to press. The side grip is very good.
 
I can't think of another case to compare the material to but it's definitely not like those semi-sticky pads people put on their dash to keep things from sliding. It's grippy but not so much that it'll turn your pocket inside out when reaching for your phone. It's sitting on the table right now and I can slide it around but it takes some effort. I haven't had any trouble with it flying around in my car and I drive an '11 WRX at felony speeds.

I found a solution that seems so obvious but maybe isn't:

I got out some small wire cutters and snipped the strips of plastic that interfere with pressing the buttons. Then I filed them smooth with a nail file. Problem solved.

I have this case and I agree with the review. I love mine!
 
Has anyone found a horizontal holster/case with a heavy duty belt clip that fits the razr with a protective otterbox cover? Not the one where you have to slide your belt through but just a clip. I'm active (aka horseback riding) and would like to find a case that works.
So far I haven't found one that the demensions will work for.

I have the Otterbox Commuter case for my Droid Razr. I also use the Seidio Active holster for the Droid Razr with it. It fits perfect.
 
Has anyone seen a "naked" belt holster for the Razr Maxx? I don't want a case/shell clip. I had a plastic belt clip holster for my Droid X and I want the exact same thing for my Maxx. It just clipped onto the phone without any bulky cases or shells. I haven't seen anything yet for the Maxx. :-(
 
I had purchased the Otterbox Defender for my Razr and the clips that hold open the ratcheting belt loop bracket snapped off. I contacted Otterbox and in a day I received instructions to take a picture of the busted clips from two angles, and take one with my name, address, and phone number on a plain sheet of paper alongside my broken case. Emailed that back in and within one week I had received, not just a new case, but a complete Otterbox Defender kit. Now that is a fantastic company and great customer service.

I'm totally loving the CaseMate POP case in white I got the other day. I had one for my thunderbolt. Provides a nice lip around the screen so I can set the phone face down. Has a kickstand, which honestly is a little flimsy and I could definitely have done without. Very strudy. I've always prefered a one piece case, as opposed to two pieces like the otterbox cases. Same protection as the commuter, same thickness, much easier to get on and off.
 
I started off having it without a case... I like a lot of people didn't wanna hide the sexiness of the Droid Razr. But I didn't like the added bulkiness in my pocket that wasn't apparent with my OG Droid. So I ended up going with the VZ Combo Holster pack, I think its called the Rugged Holster, with kickstand case and car charger =/ Still sleek though.
 
Just an update on my post about being happy with my case - I am still very happy with it and never even take it off.
 
I got a Clear - Cruzer Lite Argyle High Gloss TPU Soft Gel Skin Case - For DROID RAZR . It fits very well; easy on, easy off. All of the cutouts are perfect. The cutout for the power button is great because I can find the button very easily. The volume buttons have no cutout, but are slightly raised; again making it easy to find the buttons by touch without needing to see it. It adds only a slight amount of bulk, which actually makes it enough to feel it in my pocket. Doesn't gather dust or hand oil from what I have seen so far. Looks like it will be easy to clean as well.
 
One more note on the case I described a few pages ago - last night I modded it a bit and removed the bar that blocks acess to the power button - it is much better now and the case is still sturdy and great.
 
I purchased my razor used and it came with an otter box commuter. I was embarrassed to keep it on as it made my phone feel like my old Palm IIIc. :)

Someone on this forum recommended a Nillkin TPU case from eBay. It came after 2.5 weeks but worth the wait. Keeps the slim lines and it is grippy. Also came with screen protector and screen cleaning block. I searched Nillkin TPU on eBay. About 10 bucks with shipping.

Agreed. I have the white,blue, red, and green ones. I love them and you cant beat the price.

Very nice construction, doesn't add much bulk with just the cover, I like how the area for the power and volume are left blank and the top and bottom are exposed. It is a very secure fit, the kickstand feature is sweet for watching videos or desk clock. It had sort of a slippery feel to it when I first opened it, kind of like a silicone residue. I wiped it down and rubbed it aggressively against a towel to remove the residue...has a secure grip in hand.

It also fits in the car dock, so I don't have to take the case off when I jump in my truck! When you remove the plastic insert of the dock to use a case you will notice the phone is a little loose in the dock. I put a small piece of adhesive felt at the base of the dock to take up the space....It's black in color so doesn't look too ghetto and does the trick I'm only showing pictures of the case, not the shell w/belt clip.....left that out in my truck

I use this also. The kickstand is very convenient and even if i don't use the holster, the shell doesn't add much bulk so carrying in my pocket is no problem. The texture of the case makes the phone easier to hold than without the shell. The finish and backing of the RAZR are wonderful, but slick and I get the dropsies sometimes.
