What do I do now?

I am trying to root my HTC Hero for the first time. I'm pretty sure I did it successfully, but I'm not positive. I used a one-click root method and it sent me to a screen that has a red triangle with an exclamation point in the middle of it. I got the command prompt to come up on this screen, but have no idea what to do from here. Have I successfully rooted my phone? Is this even where I am supposed to be at? Have I completely rooted it wrong? Please help. Thanks in advance!

You are not rooted, make sure your USB debugging is enabled, Settings.Applications/Development/check mark USB Debugging, then try your One Click process again
