What do I do??

JohnCetti

So I've just got in, turned my phone on, and wham, there's a problem,
Everything has had an unexpected error and won't work, I can't get into anything at all. I've rebooted, taken out the battery and sim card (I've done this a few times now). It hasn't made a difference.

The phone is rooted, but has been since April, and I've had no problems at all.
I've booted (after a few attempts) into ClockworkModrecovery 4.0.1.4

I remember making a backup of my current ROM ages ago, should I reinstall this?? If so how do I go about doing this?
Or is a factory reset a better option??

I'm confused, in a bit of a panic, so any help is gratefully received.

1. next time be specific on your thread subject.
2. any applications installed before it happend? have you bumped or dropped your phone?
3. try having a factory reset.. it may answer your question.. then update the post.

It might be a bit late now but the first thing I'd do is clear cache and dalvik(advanced settings) in cwm recovery.

I'm going to move this over to the all things root forum:)

There was a recent update to Apex launcher that caused a problem like this. I had to revert to my last nandroid to fix it. If you have a nandroid from an older version that worked, it's certainly an option, but if you're going to be re-installing and re-configuring, you might as well grab a JB rom and give it a whirl.
