Root What do "rooters" do when OTA comes?

Hello all...new rooter here (BBv.4).

It appears that the official 2.2 will rollout this week to the original Droid. What should I do when I get the OTA announcement? Will BBv.4 block it? Should I wait for an update to BBv.4?

I'm really interested in improving streaming music quality and hoping that the official 2.2 will fix this.

I'd like to get some direction from more experienced rooters as to what to do once the release is launched. Thanks everyone.

Noob question, but what is the difference between odexed and deodexed?

Also, is there a quick how to use these files in peter's download section?

Also, I have a rooted stock 2.1 if that makes any difference(moto droid 1)

also, are his roms rooted stock 2.2 or non rooted?

What if we are not using Bugless Beast? I remember when 2.1 came out, there were these same type questions. Then it was said to flash SP Recovery and then just update and that it would just try to update but get blocked by SP Recovery. Will that not work this time?
