Root What do to before selling my Triumph

Unless the buyer backs out, I will be selling my Triumph tonight. What do I need to do before selling it, other than restoring the stock rom? I assume I need to clear out my account number somehow, but I don't remember how to get to that menu. Do I need to contact VM for any reason?

Thanks!

im not sure if you need to contact VM or not

and yes the phone must be stock in order to get activated so stock rom is good

now if the person your selling you is someone you know or someone who is going to flash a custom rom i believe you can leave the CWM recovery on if its still there

I believe that after you flash the stock ROM, just put the stock recovery on and factory reset. That should remove everything. If I'm missing something, somebody will chime in soon to get it taken care of.

You got some good responses, but let me put in my 2 cents. ;)

When I sold mine, I asked the buyer what they preferred (CWM or stock recovery). They also wanted CM9 if possible.

I flashed a clean CM9, and made a nandroid for them to restore (with instructions! :)). I then flashed the stock ROM that b_randon posted so they could activate the phone (it doesn't have any personal info in it:)). They then were able to restore the nandroid to the CM9 ROM after they activated.

So, I would say ask what they want. Just let them know that you have to give it to them with the stock ROM so that they can activate it.
