what do you like to do with your note?

These are things i love where it also outlines my iphone:
-Jotting down quick notes or drawing a quick picture.
-Using waze app while driving with note mounted on the window.
-web browsing
-instant messaging
-reading work emails
-connecting to work via vpn (work intranet and instant messaging)

ye im thinking of gettin the Note - and this was one function i was wondering about the Note and Pen.

I have finished my studies but for projects etc if im away from computer i whip out my pen n paper. But its annoying i have to type the notes.

So u can actually write notes with the pen? Whats it like exactly? : )

Yes i take all of my notes with the spen. Its a little wierd at first t used to no feedback whrn you first start writing. But less than a week i was writig fluid and in my own natural handwriting. Only problem i had was figureing ot how to hold it (landscape or portriat) I do it and landscape and zoom in so i can write as big or as small as i want. That was he hardest part i wasbt aware of being able yo zoom in and write. ONCE YOU GET YOUR SYSTEM DOWN. i cant go back.

The reason why i love is because i usually am not very neat with my notbook abd backpack i rip them up stuffig them in my overally stuff backpack. With the note i am much more orginized when it come to my class work.

Its also awasome because you can export your notes as a PDF or a gallery image. So i can push my notes to other devices easy abd view them on my desktop or tablets. (i use dropbox and now google drive or skydrive) to push the notes wirelessly.

So u woulf highly recomend you giving it a shot. You might love it like me!

You can actually take a full day of notes on this phone? First i'd think you'd need to replace the battery a few times, and second you can't fit all that much text on one Note page. You would have to use a lot of note pages, right? I imagine note taking would be better for the odd quick note that you need to jot down quickly.

Thats what youd think! The battery is actually amazing Partly due to when im taking notes, it usually in airplane mode so it barely eats up battery. When i first started i did hink it was cause i wrote to big. But for lenghtly note i pick in zoom in and it allows me to write as small as i need too abd it comres out very neat Imo. ill attach an sample of one page of notes if on a page about as muh that can fit on an overhead .

I like to walk around the mall with mine, and watch all the iPhones commit suicide.

:-) - i was on a plane the other day coming back from turkey to geneva. It was quite amazing just how many Iphones i saw walking up the aisle on the way to the loo (i was going to the loo, not the iphones!). I don't think i saw one non-iphone.

Use mine largely for ebook reading - for which it's absolutely brilliant - podcasts, browsing and watching hd mkv's. Combined with the handy little stand linked below, it's surprising how immersed I can get with just a 5.3" screen when I'm out and about. Only flaw is that my Galaxy 7.7 is seeing less use these days.

This is the stand I'm referring too, fits in my wallet, very effective. Appear to have sold out the black ones at the moment;

I'm an iPhone convert. Personally still prefer iOS, but the screen on the Note absolutely trounces my old iPhone 4. Struggled a little when I made the jump (although I still have my 4) until I realised that 99% of my phone activities involve reading, browsing and watching video. I barely gamed on my phone anymore due to battery reasons so I don't miss that. Plus, I bought a spare battery and a battery charger off Amazon, it's brilliant being able to quickly and easily have double life that only involves a 1 minute switch of the battery, rather than carry a mobile charger.

Oh yeah, I never use the s-pen, not really why I bought the Note though anyway.

How you write so neatly on the note is beyond me. I tried and tried and just looks like a three year old scribbling.

My first attempts where just horrible like you said, it looked like a 3 years old. You really got to a system of pinhing and zoomig in two finger drags to move accros the page, the background also really helped i originally was using a dif backdrop. I write in landscape and i zoom in all the way and write as big as id like. The one thing that was hard was just ignore the temptaion of trying so hard to make it perfect and just write and trust the spen.

One of my reasons for purchasing the note was the s pen. I used to have an iPAQ back in the day and used the stylus constantly for field notes. I have always longed for a stylus as I find writing notes so much quicker than typing. However, saying that I still haven't got into the way of using the s-pen, yet.

I do take a lot of notes and use Note Everything and Ema Personal Wiki (EPW), depending on the type of notes I am taking. EPW is goof if I want to use the information I am recording on another devices or the laptop, as it syncs via dropbox.

Also use the Note as my Kindle reader of choice. Used an Archos 101 before, which is now gathering dust in a drawer, as I prefer to use one device for as many things as possible.

Finally, for this message as I seem to be going on, I use my Note as my in car sat nav, with google maps navigation. Bought this screen mount. The large screen is just perfect for this.

I'm a part time Avon Lady. I love being able to jot down an order while on a call with a client without having to hunt in my bottomless 'Mary Poppins' bag for pen and paper. I keep a current order spreadsheet and payment spreadsheet on my phone. I've used my Kobo app to read a book in a waiting room: no more icky cooties from public magazines. The 'talk to text' feature is a must when I'm driving. I can 'swipe' write in seconds...even faster than poor iphoners can thump out a text. I draw ideas for greeting cards...no more itty bitty papers all over the place. OMG I love this phone!
