It varies depending upon how the money is, where I am at what's available mostly I stick with what ever I can make on the truck

Chocolate. :D Dark chocolate...and lots of it.

Or pretty much anything else that's vegan, like Double Stuf Oreos, Lays Potato Chips, cashew butter, Silk Vanilla Yogurt, all sorts of Thai/Chinese/Mexican/Italian/Greek/Armenian food, lots of apples, avocados, grapes, bananas, peaches, oranges, cherries, berries, nectarines, plums...

As long as no sentient beings were harmed in its processing, I probably like it! :D

not a big dark chocolate person. its too bitter for me.
Oh, no! Then you haven't explored dark chocolate!

Neither had I, even after going vegetarian--but the transition to vegan meant no more milk chocolate. That led me on a wondrous path--and considerable weight gain--exploring dark chocolate. There are varieties that run the gamut from very mild to very, well, bitter. There are also amazing extras added to the chocolate, everything from orange to blueberry, chili pepper to Chardonnay!

As a loose, general rule of thumb, the higher the cacao percentage, the stronger the taste. So don't buy a bar that's 90% cacao and expect a mild taste. This is the first thing that popped up just now when I did a quick search; it'll fill in some of the blanks.

Keep in mind that cacao contains flavonoids/antioxidants and is GOOD for you! So once you find some great varieties you really like, you can kick back and indulge without guilt...well...unless you eat too much...I mean, it -is- fattening if overindulged in...

yeah i know about the percentages. my ex loved dark chocolate and kept trying to get me to convert...so yeah i tried quite a few different kinds. there was one dark chocolate bar that had bacon in it, and i sort of liked that one....but i love everything bacon.....lol

but i love everything bacon.....lol
So did I!

[Although no one was making chocolate with bacon in it, back when I went vegetarian--so I missed out on that experience.]

Oh, well, if you've tried dark chocolate and haven't found any you like, so be it. Just, for me--an avowed chocoholic from way back--it was either find great dark chocolate that I genuinely enjoyed...or give up chocolate. :o I picked the former! And had a blast trying all sorts of brands, percentages, flavors, and prices along the way. :D [The weight gain wasn't so good, though.]

Oh Chocolate is amazing, any type of it, just not a huge fan of Steak or anything that is like cow meat, no thanks,
just simple stuff, even salad is a no for me.. Had ribs and mac with pea salad for my dinner with my family.

been craving some Langer's Deli #19. for you who do not know Lnger's Deli is world famous here in L.A. for their #19, pastrami on rye bread......it is sooooo damn good. the pastrami just melts in your mouth. i just never have the time to drive there. or when i do they are closed:saddroid::saddroid::saddroid::saddroid:

It's a good idea to be more specific when asking a Navy Chief "what do you like to eat?". The question might well be rephrased as "what FOODS do you like to eat?" to prevent receiving an answer that was entirely unexpected. Just sayin'...
:D

As far as foods go, I spent 20 years perfecting my steak marinade and grilling technique. My ribeye steaks are so tender you can cut them with a fork... and the taste is better than one can find in any restaurant. My favorite dessert is a toss-up between Key Lime Pie and homemade banana pudding (with crushed pineapple in it... trust me!).

Speaking of dark chocolate, every once in awhile, Butterfinger Dark candy bars are released and I will buy a dozen at a time. They are decadent.

Get your mind out of the gutter! As a world traveler, I have consumed some... let's say, "exotic" things. Some I'd love to enjoy again; others I gag at the thought of them. None of them I would consider FOOD. So there!
