What do you think about G5 and its accessories?

TBH,I'm not surprised:
Take a look at LG's US site, the accessory section.
Not a single G5 specific accessory to be found
It's a schizophrenic marketing strategy:
Pay millions for TV advertising & not having OEM accessories available within a reasonable amount of time has one screaming WTH.......................

Great phone, but,a real head scratcher regarding the modules.....
It's as if the North American market is an afterthought.
HTC is just as guilty,if not for the accessories, the limited handset offerings for the same market................

Well everyone,it was a short & sweet ride, but,as of today,I no longer have the LG G5:

Last week I was fortunate to find a T-Mobile store that still had the Samsung Galaxy Note4 still in stock, brand new.
I'd owned it once before & at the height of my phone insanity,I sold it,as I had several newer phones in my rotation, too many to enjoy any of them thoroughly.
Fast-forward to recent history, long story short,I was able to trade-in the Note5 for the Note4.
While at a more manageable two devices, the handwriting was on the wall & the G5 was sitting idle since I picked up the Note4 again.
So,I took advantage of T-Mobile's Jump-On-Demand,downgraded to a phone 1/3 the price (Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime,a mouthful if nothing else,LOL).
I've already got an interested buyer for it,so,with a bit more self-control,I may be down to a more sane 1 phone/1 tablet (which is an LG BTW).

I'm still subscribed to this forum & will try to help as best I can if need be (having an LG Tablet should help a bit in that regard).

Enjoy the LG G5 everyone, lots to like (If only LG had true S-Pen type capabilities on one of their flagships.................) ;)

I think you change phones more than I change my avatar :p

So you still have the G5 but for sale now?

No,I Jumped down, from the G5 to the less expensive Grand Prime (setting it up as we speak).
It was bittersweet doing so, easily LG's best effort in the G series since the G2, but, I know from recent history that it was gonna sit idle, having the Note4 again.

I am disappointed, KOLIO..:(

DITTO, a good phone & even better forum.
For myself, half the fun is sharing the experiences here.
Turns out, the camera is compatible with non-LG devices, so, fortunately for me, I won't be going anywhere soon.....

1st Impressions?
How do they compare to other B/T earbuds you (may) have used?
Well, here is what I had before to compare them to:
(wired, never had BT headphones before).
http://www.amazon.com/Sony-MDRXB50A...1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_search_detailpage

Now, I'm no audiophile by any means and mind you my hearing is not the greatest. :p
So with that in mind, I don't really hear much of a difference.

However, personally my pros include:
No wires to get in the way of doing things.
Very little outside noise heard.
Very good bass and clarity.
Comfortable around the neck....not annoying at all and they stay put.
No loss of connectivity with music...I have yet to check the call/microphone part of it.
Earbuds stay put also even with tilting head, bending down etc.

Cons:
Volume...I like/need it loud (as my hearing kinda sucks), but I tinker with volume with my PowerAmp app.
No other cons yet.

Overall I am very pleased with them. :D

You may be asking yourself, "why did he purchase these if his hearing kinda sucks and can't fully appreciate what these BT headphones have to offer?"

My response to that would be:
"Why not? My money and I can do what I want with it :D "

:D

So there, yeah.

On another note, I don't like my free 360 cam. I'd sooner sell it, or give it away as I'm not really into that sort of thing. :(

I bet we both get our news from the same source: :D

I'm w/ya on the no wires & while I'm sure there's some measurable difference,I bet most of the GP in a double-blind test couldn't tell the difference on a consistent basis.
Some of the real cheap buds, wired & B/T,seem to leave a ringing in the ears & I never experienced that with the JayBird BlueBuds X or SkullCandy Smokin' Buds2 & guessing that's the same w/the LG's.

A friend of mine has the OG LG Tone earbuds & couldn't be more pleased, even returned the sequel, she prefers the original,go figure....... (Kinda along the lines of the 'improvements" from the Note5 over the Note4 I suppose  ).

Nevertheless,I'm guessing the OG Tones don't hold a candle to LG Tone Platinum & well worth the $ spent, life's too short to use a POS set of earbuds................... :thumbsupdroid:

I currently have the LG G Stylo and I am "patiently" waiting until I am upgrade eligible so that I can get my hands on this bas-ass piece of equipment. I am so excited to explore the possibilities this phone provides! :D

Too bad you're not on TMOUS,the price has been slashed on the G5 from $629 to $499:

I had this phone briefly & switched to the HTC 10,which I'm financing @ $679 via EIP.
I'm JUMP eligible,I may just switch back & save a few $'s,been whittling away at my balance, this would be a nice chunk out of the balance & still have a kick-ass phone (not to mention root is available now,not so when I switched to the HTC 10).

T-Mobile's Jump-On-Demand is AWESOME,I honestly wish everyone had the opportunity to try their network & phone buying/leasing options.
