What do you use for email?

[Germwise]

Do you use the gmail app or do you prefer to use the mail app that downloads the messages to phone.

Right now the problem is that i'm getting double notifications

I like having messages downloaded on the phone but I like that gmail app has access to everything and is searchable.

Also for some reason, looking at emails in gmail it cuts off long paragraphs and puts ... after

How can I fix this?

[El Blacksheep]

Neither. I used to use gmail app, but now I use gmail via browser.

You prefer to use Gmail with the browser?

Can you give some insight into what you like about that vs. the Gmail app.?

I use Gmail via the browser a lot, specifically because the browser can handle the full (non-mobile) Gmail web app, so I can use all of the features that includes. I'm just more accustomed to the layout. I don't know about the previous poster, but that's what I like about it.

I hadn't looked at Gmail with the browswer since the phone came with the gmail app..

I just took a look, and I can see a use for it for sure..

for a quick check of the email the app works great.. If you I want to 'manage' the email then I can see going to the browser and working with it there..

cool..

Got to love this phone..
