The battery monitor app (on the taskbar, left side), is Battery Indicator Pro. The round green battery icon is part of the Apex NexTheme, but I suspect you need to install the rom first. I want to swap it out with the multi-color (gradient--no two the same color) battery icons I used while deodexed, below:

This again, is the Nextheme, but on a stock, deodexed X (without Apex rom).

If you search for 10% battery icons, you should find tutorials on how to mod your battery icons. There are also apps that let you mod your icons without a theme, like MetaMorph, but I have no experience with it.

DroidPirate.com has lots of icons, but I'm trying to remember where I got mine... it had many icons and you could pick the ones you wanted, even upload your existing framework.apk to merge them.

Haven't used anything but this for awhile now. There were some issues with time or weather being inaccurate, but haven't noticed that since last summer. Skins used to be on Market, but now they aren't. I downloaded them from the app itself.

I love the full-screen animation when it's raining and you click on the forecast.
