I'm thinking of dropping iTunes since all the 3rd party apps require you to pay money for the full service. What's a good music managing app?

What does everyone use to sync their music

I use Audiogalaxy to stream all of my itunes library to my device. It's free, very nice UI, and I don't need to store anything on the phone. It even let's you access your playlists.
The downsides are : no signal, no music, and your pc must always be on.
If you don't want to leave your pc on, consider moving your library to Amazon mp3. It keeps your music in the cloud. If you buy one mp3, they give you 20 g of storage.
If you want to load your itunes library on your device, most people seem to like doubletwist from what I've seen, but I have no personal experience with it.

I just downloaded it, it has a hideous interface but it says it can wirelessly sync music while doubletwist you gotta pay $5 for the air sync

My particular problem is that I really like the UberMusic UI, and it's customizability, but (as far as I know) I can't stream from Google Music and play it on UM. I want to be able to sync (via cloud) music to my phone, but play it through UberMusic. Anyone have any ideas?

google music is possibly the best way to go, it stores all of your music onto the cloud, and as long as you have a data connection, or wifi connection you can listen to it whenever you want, or you can make the music available offline, which i believe stores the music onto your sd card
but be mindful if you factory data wipe, or install a rom for instance, it will activate a new instance of google music, and eventually you will have 8 devices on your account that you have to manually delete, not a bad thing, but it is pretty annoying at times

I think you'll dig it. You have to keep your pc on, however, and it'll stream your itunes library. I've been using that and amazon mp3 to stream.
I probably have less than 100 songs on my device. I just download new stuff to my phone (until I add them to my itunes library). With Audiogalaxy, I can access my 42g library anywhere.
I like the audio galaxy thing, but no matter what the music skips like mad. Whether I am.on WiFi or 3G it is every 1-2 seconds. I wrote a complaint/question to them but haven't heard back. I also made sure the "high quality audio" was unchecked. This is occuring on two different sense ROMs, so I don't think it is ROM specific.

I'm on a Mac and have been using Salling Software - Salling Media Sync for Mac for over a year and love it. Syncs my iTunes/Playlists and iPhoto pic's.
