Help What does sbf stand for?

I have seen sbf mentioned a lot but I haven't seen exactly what sbf stands for. What is sbf?

I know dumb question.
 
I tried doing a Google search on it once, but couldn't find much. The sbf is the file extension/format the file is in. Everyone just refers to the files as sbf files, just as Word files are doc files and Excel files are xls file extensions.

Always wondered what that stood for as well but couldn't find the answer. Thanks. :)
 
I always thought it stood for system backup file. I never looked it up but from deductive reasoning I was able to get close lol. With that method though you could come to the conclusion that it stood for 'save (my) butt file'. haha
 
Good thing it's not SBI. Then the iPhone snobs would say "Shoulda bought an iPhone".
