Help What does the "Pre Drawn" icon do?

If I open S Pen settings (the Pen tool) in S Note, in the title bar, to the left of the X is an icon that looks like a rectangle with a squiggle in it. Hover and it says "Pre-Drawn". Press and you get a pop-up window with a grid pattern. I can write and draw in that little window, but it doesn't seem as though you can save it, cut it etc. What is the point of it? Anyone know?

Could it be just a spot for you to test out pens and brushes before you save presets, so you don't have to test them on your actual note?

That's about all it seems good for. I thought maybe you could make a little doodle and then save it as a preset (like a Photoshop brush) to "stamp" on later, but, nope....
