Help What does this mean!?!

ok so i got a new LG optimus M today and it was working pretty good all day then i was listening to music and it turned off and now its frozen on a screen that says S/W Uprgade Do not unplug
what does that mean and how can i fix it

it sound like and upgrade did you let it finish?

no like i know that it means that but i was just trying to charge it and it stuck on that screen its not connected to a computer or anything just my wall

Give it an hour or so to finish upgrading.
