What ever happened to Shootme?

What ever happened to Shootme? It was an excellent screen capture app. Is it under a different name now or is there an inequivalent?

Found a couple of articles discussing this:

ShootMe Removed From Android Market

ShootMe (Screen Grabber) – the most popular screenshot utility gone from Android Market Android Phones, Android Tablets, News, Tech, Gadgets And More, Thedroidguy

I've heard lots of folks mention ShootMe before, but I've always been a drocap2 guy myself.

Anyway, sucks that the dev pulled it...

Cheers!

Thanks for those links. It is too bad that 1. he suspended his apps for X amount of time and 2. the childish comments people leave. I appreciate 101% what devs accomplish, I can't program a thing and admire anyone who can ...except for that fruit company, nah, even them. ;-)

Yeah, I've done a little app development myself and have had to deal with a few "less than admirable" folks (to put it kindly ;)).

Check-out drocap2 (screen capture app)...I've used it since I first rooted my Eris back in early 2010. It just works.

Cheers and have a great rest of your evening! :)

I have always used Drocap2 and loved it.

The only reason I don't use it now is because CM7 has screen capture built in to the ROM now.

Also, these apps are going to become irrelevant soon. Android 4.0 has screen capture built in finally!

Not many carriers are going to bother pushing 4.0 to their current customers, so that really does not apply. Unless you root/rom or buy a new phone, yer S.O.L. :(

Id say those apps will still be very relevant.
