What files to copy?

HTC Incredible. Moving from a 2gb to a 8gb SD card.

Connected phone to PC. Saw two removable drives: "H" and "I"

Created a folder on PC desktop and copied all the contents of each
"drive" to it.

Removed old SD card and installed new one. Then copied the entire
contents of the desktop folder to the phone.

Problem/concern is: Internal Storage before had: Total Space: 6.46gb Available Space: 6.35gb Now they read: total 6.46gb and available: 3.85gb

What did I do? Something doesn't seem right with that change; like I copied something there that didn't need to be/hadn't been there before.

Thoughts? Help....please.

Thanks,
Cliff

How would I verify that? Plug back into the PC and check the contents
of the two drives?

If so, can I then delete those duplicated files?

Yeah, that would probably be the easiest way. You could use a file manager app on the phone too but PC is faster. So you have 2 drives, internal and sdcard. Just make sure you have everything where you want it without duplication.
