Ok, I'm a bit lost here.

So I read I have to S-off my phone but if I have a newer version of Hboot than the s-off prog support I have to downgrade. If i want to downgrade my phone has to be shipped with froyo and not gingerbeard.

Wel my problem is that I don't know since I bought my phone 2nd hand on ebay.

Can someone tell me based on those info what phone version do I have and what guide/tools should I use to install the Revolution ROM on my phone.

the AAHK is no more. to s off,you need to unlock the bootloader with htcdev tools,then follow this guide: A high-level DHD/Inspire manual S-OFF hack concept for advanced users | TAU – It's All About The Negative
