Root What happen to everyone

There are people running our devs off and some people are following.. im going to be looking into the other forums myself soon and see what they have to offer.

Yeah, I know the feeling bro. School has been kicking my butt. I'm not near as active as I was last year.

Same, plus my girl got annoyed with me talking a lot about theming lolz.
But a lot of people HAVE bought off most of our devs.

LMAO!! Buddy, I've heard nothing but bitching and whining from my wife since I started modding my phone. She hates this forum..... matter of fact... she hates my phone too!!! (scratching his head) >>>>> HMMMM, I wonder if she hates me too?? :D:D:p:p

with school work moving from Georgia to Ohio for work oh and can't forget the girlfriend i have slowed down a lot i wish i could do more and learn more just hard to find the time to.

I'm still around and lurk the forums from time to time. I've recently got a new job and barely have as much time as I used to. I got my phone still with CM7. I've kept switching around roms but I always go back to CM7. The phone is pretty stable and works for me so I'm not touching it much anymore ;)

I moved onto Boost's EVO, but once every week or so I dip my toes in the Prevail threads. I have so much free time now though, that I'm going to start using my Prevail to learn about writing ROMs and kernels. So in the next few weeks, you should start to see my name pop up more often. Of course, I wasn't really known before, but I hope to make a splash soon.

Didn't want to start a new thread. But I thought I'd let you all know that I will be discontinuing the use of my Boost Mobile Samsung Galaxy Prevail. It has been fun to use, but I need Verizon tower coverage now. So I've moved over to Straight Talk's Samsung Galaxy Proclaim. I've been very happy with it. I've made a comparison review HERE for those that are interested.

I am considering selling my 2 Prevails which are currently at $40/mo and scheduled to be $35/mo in a couple of months. If I can figure out a way to change the accounts to someone else so they can get the cheap rate, I'll do so.

Take care everyone!

My Prevail finally crapped out on me this week so now i'm gonna move on to the Marquee like I was planning to in the eventuality

Im gunna try and move to the S2 thread.
Wanted that phone.
But only when it goes close to $200.
And my bill is finally $40. I'm at $50. So that'll be enough time.. I think. I still love my prevail. X3

I'm gonna hang with Boost until Republic wireless is ready for primetime and gives more phone options. Right now the only choice is a Motorola Defy XT
for $250. You can't beat the service offering though, $19.95 for unlimited, uses wifi calling when available, and Sprint towers when not. Right now the biggest issue I think is that it won't automatically switch from wifi to cell while on a call.

The service would be ideal for me though, as I do most my calling thru wifi courtesy of google voice and grooveip because boost's signal is non-existent
here on the homefront. And even when I'm in range the quality of service just
flatout sucks and I've just plain had it.

After checking out the Repubic website, it looks like they charge you $19 a month to use your pre-existing internet - not really much of a deal.

It talks about using WiFi sources and will pester you: 'Cellular Usage Index (CUI). If it's too high, we'll let you know and give you tips to bring it down.'

I don't consider paying $19 a month to use my internet and whatever public WiFi a deal, I actually avoid public WiFi like the plague.

I can see your point if Boost's lameass 3g is your only source of internet. I have a 20 Mb cable connection so not an issue for me. 99% of my phone usage is from home, and as I say I have 0 cell signal when home. So it's ridiculous for me to pay Boost $40 a month for extremely limited usage.
