What happened to all the development for the Prevail? It seems for the past month+ this forum has come to crawl when things used to be booming. I thought we would be going strong til the end of the year, or so I hoped. I know a lot has been done already, but Im itching for something new, a rom, a kernel, a theme, something. Throw a dog a bone, please.:D
 
I noticed also. I think a combo of things:

1. Summer means more peeps outside and family things.
2. Many have upgraded their phones.
3. CTMod and CM7 are working smoothly so not much development needed.
4. WiMax has some peeps waiting for the next wave of phones.

i sure do wish some of my boost mobile friends could join me over in virgin mobile arena..I'm out numbered :(

its like meeting new people, new devs, new friends, new not so nice ppl..its hard to stay motivated to develop when you have no one to work with
 
believe me when i say this forums activity looks exactly like the huawei ascend forum right before it when dead... i'd love to see more.... but quite franklyy.... i have to accept reality.... the phone has real stable roms.... everything has pretty much been done to this magnificent phone of ours... im trying to port android 12.0 but so far no luck ;( lmaooo

but seriously..sure could use some of the talent from here, over there. this place was like a melting pot of talented ppl lol

My boy has a virgin mobile phone, which are you referring to?
 
Well what the deuce? I plan on moving on to a different phone around the holidays. I want to wait to see what other new phones will come out. Im an early adopter in practically every other electronics genre, but with phones I play the wait and see card. I dont want my phone to turn into my collection of HD-DVDs(if only blank Blu-Rays didnt cost $12 a piece Id convert them over).

And to Skater, Ill be waiting (not very) patiently for your new rom.

To the person who said everything has been done, I agree but refuse to believe.

New Rom? Do you mean for the Marquee or the Prevail?
 
There is still a little hope,they haven't finished the CM9 mod yet and some new drivers were released so there might be some light at the end of the tunnel.
 
The Marquee forum is not bumping very much these days either. I think everyone is waiting on the next phone to grace Boost. Me personally, I hope it is the Galaxy S II. I'm ready for Boost to have some dual core madness.
 
I've noticed the same, getting really quiet lately in Prevailville.

I've been satisfying the tweak bug with my Kindle Fire lately, just got Jelly Bean going on her Yesterday :D

I knew I should of bought the wife a Kindle, but shes had a Nook for awhile so when we upgraded she got the 8gb Nook Tablet. The 16gb version is heavily supported but the roms on the 16 dont work on the 8. Then I have a Sony Tablet S but I stupidly did an OTA ICS update and now I cant root it. The Prevail is my only toy left to really goof around with and tweak.
 
Yeah, it's been quiet lately. As for me, I'm sticking with the prevail but I'm also getting the Nexus 7.
