What happens is I send my rooted droid in for replacement?

My phone's keyboard is going to detach from the bottom layer I can sense it. The Q is already wobbly on the keyboard and about to detach any time now.

Only problem is my phone is rooted and I have no idea how to go about unrooting it and don't want to do it to risk screwing anything up so I'd rather just send it in rooted I don't care at this point.

My phone is already out of warranty but they will still allow me a replacement.

Can I get into any legal trouble?

Doubtful. Heard of any cases going to court over rooted devices sent in for replacement? It's really a matter of Verizon policy. Worst case is that they'll say its rooted and deny replacement but I doubt that would be an issue. Still, I'd unroot in your shoes. Being in IT I prefer to minimize the amount of scapegoats that people will attempt to use to blame the problem on.
