Help What happens to Apps. on SD Card With Reset

I got the OTA Froyo yesterday and have some major lag on screen rotation. I hear the only way to solve this problem is a factory reset. I am wondering if the apps I have now moved to the SD card will be saved or will I have to reinstall them?

I haven't seen this question come up or be answered in the Forum.

You will have to redownload them, but what puzzles me is, once I redownload them, they are automatically still on my SD card.
So you still have to redownload them but they are still saved on the SD card.

Unless you use an app like appmonster, can be used either rooted or not, it will backup to sd card then you will have the option to install from card or market link.
