Help What happens when your using GPS and a call comes

Its my understanding that Verizon can't do data and voice at the same time. So what happens when you are using Google Nav and a call comes in? Also in most reviews I have seen the Incredible does not do HD recording. Is this true? I am getting my weds I just switched from At&t....

Every time I use GPS and get a call I hear the gps instructions in my ear so Im assuming it still works, at least for a little while. It might have a bit saved in the memory just for that reason. My calls are never long anyway so I wouldnt know more than a couple of minutes.

as for HD recording, as of froyo we have 720p recording. Most reviews online are pre froyo.

Aw cool ok I didn't know that. I hope mine comes with froyo rather than 2.1

Yours will have Froyo 2.2 OS on it....most definitely.

On a recent trip I was 3 for 3 in having my phone crash/reboot when on a moderate length (5 min) call with Google nav/GPS running.

Of course, YMMV.

I did an experiment for a similarly themed thread. The nav worked fine while I was in the call until I made a "wrong" turn. At that point it stopped giving any directions until I hung up the call and it re-established the data connection.

Thats right, i am not able to re-route during a call
