Help what is a safe temperature doing a wi fi tether?

At what temperature should I stop tethering and let my phone cool down? I'm trying to play xbox live. I just downloaded.the system update and it went from 26 degrees to 34 degrees Celsius in like 20 minutes.

Your sensor shows the temperature of the phone's battery. Because it's the phone's most sensitive component.

The Li-Ion battery's temperature operating range is:
for discharging -20C (-4F) to +60C (+140F).
for charging 0C (+32F) to +45C (+113F).

Note, the battery heats up while discharging and charging.
But the main heat comes from the processor ... and that heat additionally increases the battery's temperature.

should i take out the battery when i tether to be safe? is there a danger of my processor overheating?
