I am rooting my phone and there is a list of safe apps to remove. One was a terminal app and it says to remove it so I can install a functional one...so I was wondering what a terminal app is for and if I should be looking for one.
Presumably, you're talking about an application that lets you log into a server via a protocol like SSH. You could take a look at ConnectBot as an example. The other possibility is that it means an application to access the command line on your local phone.
