Root What is causing the status bar crash on GBE 2.0?

My Charge's status bar crashes multiple times daily. The first crash, maybe the second one, the status bar will come back. After that, I have to reboot the phone. What's causing it? Running Gummy Charged GBE 2.0, i510.05 V.EP1, Kernel 2.6.35.7-EP1 .... thanks!

Today my Charge's status bar crashed when I unplugged the phone from the electrical outlet. This has happened before. Any ideas on this? For what it's worth, I never had this problem with the stock kernel.

My phone does this too. I use it as an alarm clock at night, and it brings up the alarm clock automatically when I put it into the dock at night to charge. The status bar crashes almost every morning when I take it out of the dock. It also will occasionally do this during the day when it's not docked or connected to power. I haven't figured out a pattern of when it happens during the day. My phone is:
Hardware version: i510.06
Gummy Charged GBE 2.1
firmware version 2.3.4
Baseband version i510.06 V EE4 SCH-I510.EE1
Kernel Version 2.6.35.7-EP1
Build number SCH-I510.EP1

I'd also be interested to know if anyone knows why this crash happens, or can tell me how to help debug to provide more information next time my status bar crashes.

I thought GBE 2.1 was 2.3.5, could be wrong, I moved on to the latest and greatest.

Common: people don't clear caches/data before flashing.
Kernel version can only be reported by viewing /system/kernel_version or whatever the file is. I'd recommend imoysen 4.0 kernel. I got FC's coming from a FY setup to GBE 2.1, and everything was fixed perfectly with the new kernel.

Again: we are missing your kernel info.
