What is data2SD, is it better/more efficient than apps2SD+ and how do I go about upgrading to it, if it is indeed better, without losing all my apps?
 
You can't update to it without a full wipe. It basically moves all data to the SD card not just the apps themselves. It places a lot of strain on the SD card and is still quite iffy so leave it for now
