What is default for Factory data reset password?
AT&T Samsung Captivate
It is located under the Settings and under Location and security. It is marked as Set up/Change password.

You have to enter one. It is empty.

It is asking for old password. How do i reset the password? thanks.

I am really not sure about a default as I have never heard anyone ask and mine had to be entered. You could do a GSM reset. I am on my phone so searching is a pain in the ass buy you could just google gsm reset dialer code for captivate or just use the search for the forum you will find it.
