What is it good for?

Hi Note users.
I am on Droid Charge and really have no issues with the phone. Works fine for me.
But my upgrade time is coming in 2 mths, and Note caught my eye. And hand, as I have large hands, and it fits well, plus, larger screen and stylus appeal to me.
But I started reading reviews and am not sure, if its features are actually right for me.
I am casual user, I use it as a phone, Skype, play chess on mine, use calendar, text reasonably much, absolutely must have decent navigation. Take good pics and have lots of storage. Be reliable.
But that's about it.

So, is it good choice for me? Before I get myself into another 2 years of Verizon "slavery" on contract.

From what you say you are looking for I think you will be very happy with it. This phone does everything I need it to and WAAAAAAAAAAAAY more!!! Go for it!!!

well, I don't really want another NOTE-book. And that's how it's pitched - taking notes, drawing pictures, and such. Care less.

If you wanted a NOTE-book, you would be getting the Note 10.1. Now that's literally a NOTE-book.

But joking aside, you'll have to go through the pros and cons of the device. In fact with any device you're interested in. Besides the features, what else is it you're looking for? If you have no need for the extras, you can look at other phones that might be more appealing to your nature. It's hard to say because each person is different. I'm waiting for the GN2s to arrive as well as the gear to protect it. Heard it's not a very durable phone when dropped.

The extra features won't hurt as you may come to use it in future or get used to using it. But if you're never going to want it or touch it, then look elsewhere. It's totally up to you. It's never an easy decision, but do what's best for you and what you need.

my MAIN concern is phone size. I have LARGE hands and fingers easily press several keys on keyboard. Also, I had HTC Fuse with stylus, and I somehow loved it, still miss it.
That's what attracted me to start with in phablet like Note. No, I do NOT want another notebook.

Try it in store. I wnt through the huge phase and thoughts for a while. Its not that much larger than moder phones at all... y9u do get very used to the size, but its your call in the end.
