Help What is Latitude and why does it keep opening?

Hi, just wondering what latitude is because it keeps opening in the background and even gets past my task killer.

Latitude is some sort of Geocaching thing I think.
You can sign out of Latitude (it should have sent you an email saying Google will know where you have been when you enabled it.)

It mullers your battery so I have heard so best to log out of it if you don't use it.

I never recieved an email so thats a bit wierd. i will see if i can sign out when i next have the chance.
