Accessories What is the best case for your money?

This is probably the 1,000th thread about an X case. I'm looking for one right now. I was holding out on another case but doesn't look like it's going to happen.
I was looking at the Otter commuter case and body glove yesterday at a Verizon store. I liked the Otter case but it was $45. The Body Glove wasn't too bad and it was $30.
I would like a case in the $20-30 range if possible. What are some good cases I can get for that?
 
my only tip for a case is. dont get one that is rubber like, they get stuck going in and out of pockets. i bought one at Verizon at launch and used for about 2 days. since then ive only used a skin-it vinyl type.
 
I really like my Otterbox Commuter. Bought it for $23 on sale at buy.com shipped. Not a perfect case (plugs don't fit as well as they should) but a great combo of protection, size and price.
 
I was using the otterbox defender and it's a nice case that offers lots of protection but, it's really bulky. I'm really good about taking care of my devices so I went went to best buy and picked up the perfected case platinum series with the holster. From what I understand, it's made by Seidio. I have been using it since 23-Dec and I absolutely love it. It doesn't really add any bulk and the physical buttons are not covered which is something that I like. I also am a fan of the how the X/Holster combo fits my belt and it's not so bulky there either.
 
The body glove isn't holding up very well for me. One piece of it broke, and the cover part of it is peeling off.

+1. You can get these Platinum cases on Ebay for a lot less than at Best Buy.
My only complaint with this case is the rubber coating isn't particularly durable, but that's probably true of any rubber coated plastic case.
 
I got the Otterbox Impact Series case today at a Verizon Store. They had for $25 which was in my price range. It feels a little bulky but my phone looks safe in it.
I messed the screen protector up that came with it. I had put it on as instructed but their was alot of air bubbles that I couldn't get rid of. I went back to Verizon to see if they had any more screen protectors for it they didn't have single ones. The only other ones that had were in the box with the case and the sales rep didn't want to take it out. I told him it was fine. I really never used a screen protector on my old Eris and I got by with it.
 
I got this one at the recommendation of another forum member. LOVE IT. For 15 bucks, you get a 2 part case, one complete stand alone silicone case (which is great by itself), then a hard shell that easily fits on.

I like that all of the buttons feel like the phone is naked, the silicone makes it so easy to push them. Also I like that the hard keys are still visible in this case which they arn't in a few others.

I have tried a few cases including otterbox defender and IMO this is just as nice, and for 15 bucks with free shipping!

I've had this case now for a few days and I really like it. The silicone areas
that show thru the hard outer case are lint grabbers but I think it's lessening some (think...).

The hard outer shell goes in and out of the pocket fine and I don't feel the silicone areas catching. The case fits perfectly and all ports are perfectly usable, lined up and look like care went into them. Good job there. The hard case giving 100% coverage to every edge and the very soft inner silicone "glove" looks like it would do very well in shock absorption. The hard outside plastic is also not the more brittle stuff some use that breaks easy, this feels flexible but hard. The DX inside the silicone glove just slides very snuggly into the hard case. I don't have an X-bat but I would think it still should fit.

Two thumbs up here so far, and the price of $15 shipped seals the deal for me.

Yep. Really liking the innocase active after 2 days. The only thing that sucks is that it wont fit in the Motorola car dock I have but I doubt any cases do. I was going naked for the last few months but I think this case feels almost better.

Ditto. I picked mine up on Amazon for 21 or 22 dollars and I really like it.
