Accessories What is the best droid case?

I understand that iPhone cases will often work for a Moto Droid. Has anyone used the Sena Elegra case for iPhone for a Moto Droid. Sena says that it is bit is tight at first but loosens up.

Also, has anyone bought the Cellet Bergamo case for iPhone, which also fits the Moto Droid?

Thanks.

I have somewhat large hands and the naked Droid feels too small and a little slippery. I was really worried about dropping it when I took it out of my pocket. After I got the Body Glove, no more fears.

I do hate that it's so damn hard to take off. I feel like I'm going to pull the phone apart when I try and remove it, so I've decided to just not remove it.

Got the Body Glove face piece on a Snap On Verizon Droid back case with the Verizon 3 pack droid screen cover. This seems to be the best fit. I got the Body Glove for free which was a cool outcome from an unfortunate circumstance. The front & back piece of the body glove rub together which causes tension between sliding up and down the screen which will eventually damage the sensor on it. I got the 2nd cover from Verizon and it does the same so i combined the Verizon Back Piece and the Body Glove Front Piece and they don't rub at all. It slides open and closed with almost no resistance.:D

Ouch. Didn't think about that resistance causing a problem. I think I'll look into the Snap On. Thanks!

Has anyone come across a case that covers the entire phone, screen excluded, and keeps the keyboard from opening? That would be one for me to consider. I use the Innocase from time to time but mostly without a case.

just picked up the otterbox from newegg. can't wait. of course, i don't even have my droid yet. hopefully they will both arrive the same day.

I tried the Otterbox, it was nice but my Droid was able to move around some. I really like a case that is snug and doesn't allow for movement. The case was great other than that. Hopefully yours works out great for you. I like Otterbox. Seidio is actually making a Rugged Innocase for the Droid that should be out soon too.

I use the VZW one in red. It is extremely secure, but that also causes a problem when trying to get it off to clean, etc. Feels like I'm gonna break the phone trying to get it off. Other than that its good. The Seido ones look very nice.

Does the Seidio Innocase case for the Droid come with a belt clip?

The Innocase can come with a holster that is designed just for it. I have that too and I really like it, when using the case that is. Check out Seidio's website, they have some cool stuff there.

Otterbox Commuter case is a 10/10!
Incredible protection while still keeping it on the thinner side, perfect combo.
Its a bit expensive but well worth it...

I just bought the Innocase based on feedback provided in this thread. Hopefully the Inno + the Zagg.com screen protector and the phone will withstand the beating from my front pockets.

anyone posted real world pics of the otterbox on the Droid? can't seem to find any except the ones from the otterbox site.

I just got my sena kutu case yesterday. It's a well-made leather case comes with a very nice package. (btw, I think Sena is very good at marketing). I used for one day but I want to return it. Here are the pros and cons (to my opinion)

Pros:
1. well-made leather material
2. slick design

Cons:
1. not very tight - if you hold the case, and keep it upside down, a very gentle shake can let the phone slip out a bit. The phone will not drop, but it's kind of loose, I don't like that risk - I want something can firmly hold the phone all the time.

2. maybe this is just my personal preference. I feel tired that everytime I need to access my phone (check notifications, charge battery, etc.) I have to pull out the phone, and the phone will be naked, no protection at all. The case is more for carrying the phone, I think.

3. kind of pricy, USD 40.

To be fair, I should have thought about this before I bought it, but I only came to realized this after playing with the case for a day.

Sorry for my poor English. This is my first post. Please be nice :-)

P.S. I am now looking at some clear snap type case, slick design, can protect the phone as you use it, and you can easily get access to all the ports (earphone, USB port, etc.) Any recommendations?

It looks the same as on their web site,

I like mine provides a lot of protection and some added grip, the ear phone and USB covers are well executed and keep them clean, only complaint was the added bulk, it was noticeable at first both in hand and pocket but I got used to it,

I ordered my otterbox yesterday after i dropped my phone and dinged up the bottoms near the mic/antennas :(. I wish i had ordered it sooner but i loved the media dock. But now i need it to cover the scars. Although a drop from 4ft onto concrete only scuffed my phone a bit so this phone is pretty sturdy.

I ordered off ebay for 25$ Canadian tho. It was 31.99 + 15$ shipping to Canada from otterbox and about the same from newegg

I purchased the Otter cover. I love it. I drop my phones like clockwork and its protected the screen and everything. Its a tad bit bulky, but that doesn't bother me. Its lined with silicone so that the plastic doesn't scratch the phone.
