Help What is the best way to upgrade to 2.2 without rooting?

I currently am running the leaked version of 2.2 and have had some problems with it so far (like it getting stuck in landscape mode) anyway I was told that it was a old version and there were alot more updated version's out there. Can you please direct me to them? And I don't want to root my phone... please keep it as simple as possible. Thanks.

The best way to get 2.2 on your phone without rooting is to buy a phone that comes with 2.2.

If you want to install an unofficial ROM onto your phone, you're going to have to root it first. Considering what you'll be doing by virtue of installing the ROM, there's little sense in having an aversion to rooting it first.

If you don't want to root your Captivate and you want 2.2 you'll have to wait for the official release.
